I put together this slide deck for a 40-minute guest lecture for business students. It starts with how students already use AI, then explores what these tools can create and how agents can take action using other software. No programming background is assumed.
The slides cover:
- How students use AI for learning, homework, writing, and everyday questions.
- The distinction between AI broadly and generative AI.
- How capabilities have evolved, with pelican drawings, generated video, 3D models, and games.
- How agentic AI moves from giving an answer to using tools, checking results, and working toward a goal.
The deck ends with a transition to my personal live demos. Those walkthroughs are presented separately.
Use the arrow keys or on-screen controls to move through the slides. Slides opens the overview, Notes shows the speaker notes, and Fullscreen expands the presentation. Videos require an internet connection; original source links are included alongside the examples.
